Driven mostly by the gap the Arrows enjoy from the qualifying session, it appears they will get away best. The lead will be eaten into a bit by Verstappen presenting a situation where Bottas will once again be left with his only option to hold station while Hamilton pulls clear. Max will have another scenario where he can keep pushing Valtteri and hope for a mistake so he can get by or push Bottas into Hamilton, OR he will not be close enough to challenge the strategy while being so close dirty air overheats the car. Either way, the rest of the field will be in a world of their own.
A one stop is going to be tough, but if anyone can do it, it’ll be Ricciardo or Norris. Daniel because he has a history of running long and taking care of tyres. Norris because he has the choice of boots in P11 – which isn’t the worst place in the world to be. Ricciardo may have been in P8 in Q3, don’t forget his 1:16.243 was 5th fastest overall just happened to be run in the Q2 session. Speaking of Renault, I’ve left Ocon out of contention due to mechanical failure.
