The Japanese Grand Prix Race Results Prove that Mercedes Benz F1 is in a class of their own. Despite Ferrari coming on strong late in the season, The Silver Arrows are the first ever Formula 1 constructor to take six consecutive constructors championships as well as the drivers championship. The hybrid era belongs to Mercedes Benz – and Lewis Hamilton in particular.
Despite the impressive record, Hamilton’s third place finish and win-hungry attitude kept a mute response to his boss letting him know over team radio they’ve just won the constructors championship – all he came back with was “congratulations guys”.
Sebastian Vettel’s jump start was investigated but allowed to slide. After he fluffed his pole position start, he spent the remainder of the race fending off Lewis Hamilton.
Max Verstappen was put into the grass by Charles Leclerc who finished fourth place after fighting back massively and showing class overtaking – albeit in superior machinery. Th
The Japanese Grand Prix Qualifying session started off with two red flags that ended up being a bad omen for the drivers and contact we’d see across the grid. Many drivers had contact today but only Max Verstappen was able to continue.
