Alpha Tauri Formula 1 team is just going to have to be a reality we all live with as the Red Bull sister outfit formally know as Toro Rosso change their name to Alpha Tauri. This becomes official as we enter the 2020 season.

A vote went into effect after the conclusion of the Russian Grand Prix and Scuderia Toro Rosso was approved by the grid to now be called Scuderia Alpha Tauri. It’s a move that focuses more on Red Bull’s global presence as Alpha Tauri Formula 1 is an ode to the parent company’s lifestyle brand. It comes from the Taurus Constellation where Toro Rosso was Italian for Red Bull.
Alpha Tauri Formula 1 – Not Alfa
As if a mid-season change of team name wasn’t confusing enough, especially being the same entry without a major titles sponsor change, there will still be the Alfa Romeo F1 team piloted by Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi. Once the liveries officially come out, we will have a good indication of just how different they look. Here is a side by side of the Alfa Romeo next to the Alpha Tauri F1 potential livery.
